Welcome to 2030. I own myself, I live completely free, and life has never been better.
The idea for this story was inspired by Derrick Broze. Specifically, his essay entitled, "Welcome to 2030: We are thriving. We are fulfilled."
This was his brilliant counter to an article written by Ida Auken for the World Economic Forum published in Forbes magazine. Titled "Welcome to 2030. I own nothing, have no privacy, and life has never been better".
Many people now know about the transhumanist movement. The"Agenda 2030" and the WEF's "Great Reset". This movement and philosophy has many of us worried as we read their plans for a post-human society. In their own writings they describe a scientific dictatorship that they feel ordained to impose upon the world. Those of us who love freedom and humanity find these ideas abhorrent and unacceptable. I’ve been tracking the rise of this technocratic authoritarian philosophy for many years. Aware of their ambition to imprison humanity in a dystopian post-human nightmare.
Fighting against this agenda is great. Although, doing the work to build a brighter future is a real step forward to living in freedom.
Derrick Broze is dreaming a better dream. His is a beautiful, practical, and realistic vision of a free and natural life. A life he works very hard every day to plan and create. He is constantly researching and designing workable "Exit and Build" strategies. Not waiting for the future he is starting to build the future today. Derrick Broze is an activist, a journalist, and a visionary. I highly recommend you check out his writing over at The Last American Vagabond.
I took a rather different approach to the idea than Derrick did. My idea was to create a thought experiment out of it. Also it's a bit philosophical, a bit science fiction fantasy. I wanted to envision a radical paradigm shift. Inventing an entirely new geopolitical system that recognizes freedom as a fundamental moral obligation. Not a ready plan for today exactly but rather my yearning for a free planet to strive towards in the future.
My vision for 2030 is an audacious dream were humanity is truly and finally free. I hope you enjoy dreaming of the possibilities with me.

This is the story of a world that has finally decided, that it will no longer tolerate tyrants, warlords, and despots. Nor shall we tolerate the decrepit reptiloid politicians that grovel at the feet of anthropophagic autocrats.
Imagine if you will, a world where the oligarchs that gather in Davos are completely and globally ignored. Instead the world's attention is on a massive global movement inspired organically by the people of Earth. Compelled by an ageless primal desire for freedom. A vision of humanity released from the vampirism of the parasitic ruling class. Rejecting, once and for all, those that have dominated humanity since the dawn of civilization.
I did say this was science fiction fantasy. Nobody said it has to be believable. I say, if you're going to dream then dream big. I promise, there will be no unicorns.

A planetary proclamation is written. The Planetary Proclamation of Natural Law and Human Dignity. It states as self-evident that any form of non-voluntary government is a crime.
The proclamation states that all forms of coercion and force by any government, nation state, or organization, is by Natural Law decreed an immoral crime against humanity. Ordering all to "cease and desist" immediately or face planetary eviction.
Oh come on, it could happen. Anyways this story is an allegory, a pipe dream, or something. Whatever, just come along. I'm getting to the part where it sort of makes sense.

All governments and nation states are free to exist and continue to organize by their chosen political philosophy. As long as they abide by the decree of Planetary Natural Law.
People are always talking about "World Peace". I'm trying to imagine what that would look like and how it might actually work. The problem, as always, is how to get the wide diversity of ideas, philosophies, and beliefs, to coexist.
Right? Everyone wants their favorite ideology to come out on top. It doesn't need to be a confrontation. The world is big enough for everyone and all their ideologies. It’s really simple. The only thing anyone needs to agree on is that nobody has the right to force their ideology on anyone else. To each his own, its that simple.
Well almost, what there is absolutely no room for is any ideology that demands coercion and force to exist. An ideology must stand on it's own merits and appeal. No one should be forced or able to force others to endure any life style or ideology that doesn’t suit them.

To exist on a free planet any government organization must appeal to the people they wish to serve. They must prove that they actually serve the people and not just the wealthy elite and corporations. Every government brand on earth is now in open market competition with all other government brands. They must be useful to their citizen/clients to stay legitimate. There is also independent private service providers that compete with governments. Most people have a combination of the two. They individually arrange their governmental service package as they see fit.
The only actual law needed is the Planetary Natural Law. The three primary principles of Natural Law are, Non-aggression, Volunteerism, and the Right to Self-defense and Preservation. This is the foundation all other laws are built upon. No rule or law may exist in contradiction to any of the three principles of Natural Law. This was unanimously decided on by the people of Earth using the decentralized One Human One Vote Blockchain. To claim the right to freedom for all humanity 7.9 billion people voted to revoke all funds and support for any non-voluntary government. They all simultaneously went broke and became obsolete.
Yeah, I suppose in real life this part might be a tad more difficult to pull off. Oh well, moving on.
Instead of laws set by politicians serving the oligarchy, all national, state, and community laws are now regional agreements. Written out in sets of Smart Contracts. Instead of bureaucratic offices and governmental boards there is a menu system of smart contracts held on the Holosphere Blockchain. Every citizen-client selects from a menu each governmental service that they chose or chose not to participate in.
Therefore, all governments worldwide are, in reality, in service to the people. Otherwise their smart contract is recognized as null and void. Those contracts automatically reverse and all funds reclaimed. This works both ways of course. Smart contacts reverse funds from whichever party is refusing to satisfy their agreement.
This is called a trustless system. People do not need to know or trust each other or a third party for the system to work. No one has authority over the system. There's no need to trust anything except the system itself. All contract data is verified and immutably stored on the Holosphere Blockchain. With copious backups and fail-safe redundancies.
In order to have any size and strength every government organization must now actually listen to and honestly serve the people. No longer do governments exist for the sole purpose of supporting massively wealthy oligarchs.
Of course if the rich want special services there is no reason why they shouldn't be allowed to pay for it. They're free, like everyone else is, to have what they can afford. It’s simply no longer possible to have it at the expense of others. No longer do people get into politics just to have power over other people and get rich.
This is the part where everyone always ask; "OK fine but how do you enforce such a utopian planetary law?" Well, it's not too different from how laws are enforced now. Regionally a form of police, internationally some type of military. Right now private forms of both exist. Problem is they're almost all owned and operated by the same traitorous corrupt elites that we need to get rid of. Just as politicians will no longer seek office for ego and wealth. The money hungry military industrial complex will no longer be the driving force of a military. Remove the profit motive and war will no longer be a business.
Here's the thing, everyone knows some of the people, who join the armed forces, do so because they are following an honorable calling. Young strong natural warriors who really do want to serve with integrity and honor. The ancient warrior codes like Budō and Chivalry are still deep within our DNA. These truly heroic humans deserve to be acknowledged, respected, and rewarded. Instead of used, manipulated, and discarded, like so many governments do to their military veterans.
True and honorable warriors who read this story know what I'm talking about. They could finally serve and thrive as they've always dreamed of. I actually think, good people like this are in the majority in the armed services. As it is in the civilian world, control freaks and psychopaths are a tiny minority. When people realize this they will simultaneously realize just how powerful we truly are.
Again, the only laws necessary to make it work are the Three Primary Principles of Natural Law. Non-aggression, Volunteerism, and Self-defense. Even police and military can use this to base their actions on. All acts of force or violence must always be in defense. The old saying "to serve and protect" would finally be true. Arbitrary victimless crimes will no longer exist.
We've seen this recently with military personnel and police standing up and refusing what they know to be unjust and immoral orders. These are the kinds of brave people that should be offered leadership positions. They should also be very well compensated.
That should be true for any leader. Their leadership should be a result of their inherent integrity and honor. Instead of passively waiting for ambitious power hungry egomaniacs that grovel for the seats of power. We actively seek out wise, just and deserving people. We humbly request their leadership and guidance.
A trustless system of smart contracts will eliminate the need for most government officials anyway. There will be many other more profitable career choices. No one will choose politics out of ambition and greed anymore. They'll have to get real jobs.
I know, I know... This is a huge pipe dream. But man, can't you feel the buzz!? The hit you get from dreaming of a true and lasting freedom. An entire planet that realizes all humans love freedom. This is the one truth that we can all agree on.
Well, all but the vermin scum who enjoy forcing others into slavery. But who gives a fuck what they want.
Oh alright, this is somewhat unrealistic. Although, as a thought experiment I hope you can see the possibilities. New paradigms always start as dreams before they become reality. We must imagine the change we want so we can think it through. Then the real hard work begins. This is the way we will find a real path to freedom. Then we walk that path together.
As long as there are people who bow to authority. As long as people submit, obey, and give their power away. There will always be tyrants, warlords, and despots happy to force their will upon those who consent to their rule.
It's time we stand up, stand together, and each one of us claims our birthright to freedom.
